Sales Support Coordinator

OVERVIEW

Contribute to the business growth and sales operations in the UK. You will be involved in the full sales cycle including researching the market and potential client organisations, proposal and bid coordination, discovering and seeking out new opportunities as well as maintaining CRM data and providing sales and marketing team with business analytics.

WHAT WILL
YOU DO

  • Collaborate and contribute to develop new strategies to grow the sales pipeline.
  • RFP / RFI Coordination - Gather and organise company information across departments (marketing, finance, technology, delivery) to assist in preparing proposals efficiently.
  • Monitor the bid process to completion, ensuring proposals are submitted on time meeting all the requirements
  • Scan tender sites and relevant media sources to identify and qualify suitable opportunities
  • Work with the sales team to create, maintain and develop target account lists for new business development campaigns
  • Research potential customer organisations, their leaders and strategic goals to assist in creating the sales approach
  • Maintain CRM hygiene to keep accurate leads and opportunities data
  • Work with marketing to manage leads and targeted communication campaigns
  • Attend client presentations, partner meetings, marketing and industry events
  • Support pricing approval requests through the process

WHO ARE
YOU

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience of working in a B2B inside sales, sales support or lead generation role
  • Experience of bid coordination and management
  • Accomplished in internet, social media and telephone research methods for lead generation.
  • Good social networking skills and knowledge of applications such as LinkedIn
  • Be inquisitive and interested in business and organisational goals and strategy
  • Strong verbal communications skills, confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Maintaining accurate data within CRM
  • Personable, tenacious and motivated to succeed within a team
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Strong Coordination skills

Desirable

  • Education to Degree level – Marketing, Communications, Economics, Business or related program preferred, with the desire to learn from real-life experiences
  • Fluent in English, other European languages also an advantage
  • Experience of working with Salesforce
  • Experience of technical proposal writing
